18kt Yellow Gold St George Medal
Saint George
Saint George is one of Christianity’s most widely venerated saints and is traditionally remembered as a courageous soldier and Christian martyr. He is especially associated with courage, strength, faith and protection.
The famous image of Saint George defeating the dragon has long been understood as a symbol of the triumph of faith and good over evil.
Design
Front:
The front of the medal features Saint George on horseback defeating the dragon, one of the most recognised traditional depictions of the saint and a powerful symbol of courage and Christian faith.
Reverse:
The reverse of the medal features the prayer “St George Pray for Us”, a meaningful invocation asking for Saint George’s intercession.
Faith & Devotion
Saint George is venerated by Christians around the world and is particularly associated with courage, strength and steadfast faith.
A St George medal can be worn as a personal expression of faith and devotion and makes a meaningful religious gift for Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, birthdays, anniversaries and other significant occasions.
